What is Holy Week?
March 30, 2012 - Posted by Joseph Shih

Holy Week is a week in the Christian church tradition that observes and celebrates Jesus Christ's death and ressurection, redeeming and saving us from our sins. Holy Week starts off with Palm Sunday and finishes in the celebration of Easter Sunday and marks the end of our 40-day Lent Season.

See our events and services this week below!

"Palm Sunday Service" ~ Friday, 4/1 - 11:00am
Join our church for Palm Sunday Worship as we observe Jesus' final entry into the city of Jerusalem before dying on the cross. Palm leaves in the ancient world were symbols given to champions and kings, and on Palm Sunday, we as Christians will use palm leaves to acknowledge Jesus Christ as king.

"Good Friday" ~ Friday, 4/6 - 7:00pm
Join our church as we take witness to the story of the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ for our sins, with music and readings.

"Easter Vigil Service (with Baptism)" ~ Saturday, 4/7 - 7:00pm
Come for a night of worship as we celebrate the risen Christ along with the holy baptism of our fellow church members.

"Easter Breakfast (Fundraiser)" ~ Sunday, 4/8 - 9:00am
You are welcomed to breakfast and then reflect through songs and prayers of the love of God for us in Christ.

"Easter Sunday Service" ~ Sunday, 4/8 - 11:00am
Come celebrate with us the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior! Let us worship and praise him! Lunch follows.
