Awesome Welcome Worship!

Welcome Worship 2011 last Friday was amazing! I first want to thank ALL that were involved in the planning, executing, and cleaning up! This could not have happened without each one of you taking part in God's ministry.
Over 50 friends were apart of this wonderful night. The night started out with games and then moved into a fantastic feast of a dinner. During worship, our band played amazingly, leading us to worship in a joyful sound of praise! Pastor Jimmy invited members to call this faith community home, which can only be done through a strengthened relationship with God, led by the Holy Spirit. Afterwards, people hung around well into the night as people did not want to leave. The cleanup team and a few others also did an amazing job making sure everything was put away and that the kitchen was clean. This was a truly spirit-filled night. Thanks be to God!
I want to extend that welcome to those who we met for the first time to join us, call this community your home, and grow your relationship with God. We have many opportunities here, from Bible study to worship and from learning to serving.
