New Bible Study Format

On Friday the 2nd of October, we started a new Bible study format that promotes better use of time and encourages equal sharing. We are also very excited for our new worship band.
The night starts out with dinner as usual. We then get together for opening prayer and then worship songs led by a worship band of guitar, piano, drums, and lead vocals.
We go right into reading the scripture for discussion together, then quickly break into small groups of three. Each group will discuss, write down their discussions, and choose a reporter. Before coming back together with the other groups, each small group member will take turns praying for the person on their right.
After returning to the larger group. The chosen reporters will report shortly what they have discussed or what they found interesting. Then at the very end, Pastor Jimmy will wrap us up with a summary, application, answering any questions we have, and a closing prayer.
This seemed to have worked very well! Everyone have felt that this new format gives everyone room to share and talk. We give thanks to God!
